Here's Alan Simpson, President Obama’s "hand-picked" Co-Chair of the Deficit Commission, otherwise known as the Social Security Death Panel.This ANGRY old Neanderthal, who delights in referring to older women as "pink panthers," sent a rude and patronizingly sexist email message to Ashley Carson, the executive director of the National Older Women's League (OWL):
"If you have some better suggestions about how to stabilize Social Security instead of just babbling into the vapors, let me know," he writes. "And yes, I've made some plenty smart cracks about people on Social Security who milk it to the last degree. You know 'em too. It's the same with any system in America. We've reached a point now where it's like a milk cow with 310 million tits! Call when you get honest work!"
If Simpson was accused of racism, the man would have been fired yesterday. Racism is a human rights issue; sexism, however, is 'merely a women's issue.' OWL, with the backing of the National Council of Women's Organizations, is calling for Simpson's resignation. Sign the petition, call and email the White House!
