Lawrence Summers is reportedly a leading candidate for Obama's Treasury secretary. Summers held the same position under President Clinton, but that was before he became internationally famous as a sexist with a statement suggesting that women lag behind men in math and science because we are innately inferior.
Obviously, Obama is not the most pro feminist guy in the world, but hopefully the sweetie will refrain from appointing some of the more blatant sexists to his cabinet. And while we doubt he will be able to keep up with the Prime Minster of Spain, it is hoped that President Obama will appoint more women to cabinet positions than did George W. Bush. And yes, Obama loyalists, we will be counting the women.
