Remembering 9/11 Photos

These haunting photos are two of 1,500 now on display in New York. Obviously, the photos were taken in the immediate aftermath of 9-11.

In “Here Is New York: Remembering 9/11,” a new exhibition at the New-York Historical Society, 1,500 photos taken during those apocalyptic days are on display. . .

“Break the cycle of violence,” reads one written before the dust had even settled.

“Don’t turn tragedy into war” is yet another moral highlighted in one of the photos, which is strange, since we have ended up with both.
