Outrage After GOP House Blows Off Sandy Aid Bill

If you are still reeling from the dysfunctional drama in Washington, catch your breath cause there's a lot more to come.   A whole lot of bipartisan outrage is erupting over the Republican dominated House's refusal to vote/pass the Sandy Aid Bill. It seems that the bill addresses an, um, emergency and putting it off until sometime in the next Congress will result in pain and destruction.

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is holding a press conference today. Rumor has it the Governor who does not mince words is seriously not happy. I'll post the video momentarily.

And for once, crazed Rep. Peter King actually gets something correct:
Elected officials from the New York area erupted with outrage on Wednesday after the House refused to take up a federal aid package for states that suffered damages from Hurricane Sandy, and even local Republicans blasted their Congressional leaders for their inaction.

“I’m saying right now, anyone from New York or New Jersey who contributes one penny to Congressional Republicans is out of their minds,” Representative Peter T. King, a Long Island Republican, said during an interview on CNN on Wednesday morning. “Because what they did last night was put a knife in the back of New Yorkers and New Jerseyans. It was an absolute disgrace.”
