Another student organized protest of the odious Don't Say Gay bill is planned for tomorrow. If you are in the area, please drop by to show your support:

Time: Tuesday, May 17 · 3:30pm - 5:00pm
Location: Charlotte Avenue- TN State Capitol
Plus the weekly protest will be at 7:30AM-8:30AM, Charlotte Avenue-TN State Capitol.

According to the students' Say Gay! Facebook page, 344 people will be there:

Keeping the tradition alive, we will now have a silent protest on Tuesday, May 17 in anticipation of the scheduled Senate vote and regular protest on Wednesday, May 18. . For the silent protest, we will duct tape our mouths to symbolize the harmful silence that will come about if SB049 is passed. You may have posters, t-shirts, etc, but there will be no chanting-- mere silence. Same location. For now, the Senate is scheduled to begin session at 8:30 AM on Wednesday, May 18. We will have our normal protest from 7:30AM-8:30AM. Same location. See you there! :)
