The United States of America ranks 70th in the world in the number of women it has elected to office. . . between Cambodia and Zimbabwe. The U.S. is also one of only five countries in the world that does not offer paid maternity leave. If you're a woman who wants equal rights or simply to be treated with respect, you should move to Sweden, Norway, France, or most any of the social democracies. Or, you could raise hell.
