Hillary Supporter Elton John Condemns U.S. Misogyny

"I never cease to be amazed at the misogynist attitude of some of the people in this country. I say to hell with them. . I love you Hillary, I'll be there for you."
-- Elton John

Thank you, Elton John!

It's almost like you have to be from outside the country to name the problem.

We waited for Barack Obama to denounce the misogyny. We waited for Howard Dean to tell the sexist media to back off. I really can't think of any women who have enough power to withstand the jeers and ridicule that come with speaking the word misogyny on the national stage in this woman-hating cowboy country. For as long as women have struggled for equal rights, the tactic for silencing the women has always been jeers and ridicule.

Where is the feminist leadership?

Clueless Cowboy at The New Republic, aka Obama Diplomat or Vote Loser: "No, it's not quite 'God damn America.' Though the technical sentiment is the same, Sir Elton is at least limiting his eternal damnation to those people (or perhaps states) who declined to vote for Hillary Clinton."
