And a vote for John McCain is clearly a vote for misogyny.
After a McCain supporter asked, "How do we beat the bitch?" John McCain and the room full of manly men and other assorted asses erupted in laughter. When the laughter finally subsided, McCain said it was an "excellent question." Nothing like a woman in the race for the nation's top job to bring the culture's misogyny out into ugly in-your-face full view. Hahahaha. That's so funny. Yeah, funny if you are a low-life cretin. And thanks to the questioner for demonstrating that patriarchy is in our heads, all our heads (even feminist heads). Shame on John McCain for putting his stamp of approval on the misogyny.
"How do we beat the bitch?" -- "Somebody in the audience shouted out, 'I thought she was talking about my ex-wife.' There was more laughter all around, and then McCain said: 'That's an excellent question.'"
Eventually, McCain said he 'respects' Senator Clinton. Yeah John McCain, the domestic violence shelters are full of women who have been respected like that.
Update: Ann Althouse observes that only last month McCain reacted quite differently when the offense involved race. Yeah, but there are men in every race.
