Fred Says he Doesn't Want to Debate 'All the Time' - So he Skips Another One
Fred Thompson, aka New Coke, is a laugh a minute. When asked why he isn't participating in next Monday's Values Voters debate, the fool actually said that he doesn't want to debate "all the time."
Well Freddie, how about one time?
Yahoo News:
[H]e was asked why he was not participating in the Values Voter debate in Fort Lauderdale on Monday.
"Debates are important, but let's don't let the tail wag the dog here. Standing up there 10 in a row, you know, like a bunch of seals waiting for someone to throw you the next fish is not necessarily the best way to impart your information to the American people," Thompson said. "I'm not above acting like a seal every once in a while and waiting for the next fish. I just don't want to do it all the time."
Sheesh, they don't call him lazy for no reason.
Freddie Skips 3rd Debate
It's true that the other top tier candidates are skipping the Values Voters debate, but unlike Freddie, they've been to a few. Next week's Values Voter Debate in Florida will be the 3rd debate that Fred Thompson has skipped -- according to the rightwing RedState blog.
But who's counting?
1. New Hampshire debate
2. Lincoln-Douglas styled debate with Mike Huckabee
3. Values Voter debate
