Wisconsin Republicans Preparing to Break With Union Busting Gov. Walker?

Word is Wisconsin Republicans are getting awfully nervous and are about to defect from their crazed right-wing Guv before he lays off thousands of voters and GOP senators pay the price. Polls are showing lots of support for Dems and firm opposition to Walker's union busting agenda.

This is one time when picking on women (teachers and nurses) is causing some serious backlash. Recall efforts are underway for the GOP senators and Walker's approval rating is plummeting. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. This would be an inspirational victory with domino effects across the nation. We need a few.

This is from Greg Sargent:

The Wall Street Journal reports: Conservatives in Wisconsin are getting nervous that three Republican state senators may defect on the collective-bargaining reform vote.

Sargent adds:

WEAU, an NBC affiliate in Wisconsin, reports that "four moderate Republicans are wavering and could break with the GOP and vote against Walker's budget repair bill."

And this from right-leaning Rasmussen: Rasmussen Poll: Almost Six In Ten Wisconsin Voters Disapprove Of Gov. Walker
