Pro Life Org Threatens Boycott of American Girl Doll Co.

The Pro-Life Action League is threatening to boycott and picket the American Girl Doll Co. The doll company has partnered with the non-profit Girls Inc., in a campaign to promote high self-esteem among girls. The campaign sells 70 cent "I Can" bracelets.

According to the Anti-Choice org., "Sales of this "I Can" bracelet support the pro-abortion, pro-lesbian agenda of Girls Inc."

This is one powerful bracelet.

From the Pro-Life Action League:

Betrayal by American Girl Doll Company
Now American Girl has linked up with the pro-abortion Girls Incorporated. In a fundraising program selling "I Can" bracelets, 70% of the proceeds going to Girls Inc., plus a straight-out gift of $50,000 to the pro-abortion group from the doll company, owned by Mattel.

We have contacted all parties involved. American Girl knows that Girls Inc. not only supports abortion but contraception and the lesbian life style and is not supportive of abstinence-only programs. (More information here.)

But before we must resort to the boycott and pickets of all the American Dolls stores, we ask you, dear pro-life activist, to contact American Girls President, Ellen L. Brothers:

Be nice but firm. We don't want to have to picket a doll house, but we will.

Sheesh, Girls Inc. supports contraception too!?!? Somebody call out the friggin' National Guard.

If these "Pro Life" groups are going to wage war against the LGBT community, maybe they need to start calling themselves "Pro Homophobic Life."

Obviously, American Girl needs to hear from some sane people. I'm thinking my entire family needs some bracelets. Also, American Girl makes beautiful dolls and the gift giving season is approaching.
