Politico's Mike Allen reports that Blanche Lincoln is going to lose today's primary runoff:Top Arkansas sources tell us the state’s political establishment expects Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D-Ark.) to LOSE her primary runoff tonight by at least 5 points -- and perhaps 7 to 10, since insurgents have been outperforming their polls this year.
That would be a win for organized labor. A win for the candidate heavily backed by liberal organizations. Goddess knows liberals could use a win. The illiberal White House should take note. The moral of the story, or what I hope is the moral of the story: Throw your liberal base under the bus at your own peril.
