Question to Hillary About Gay Rights (Video) (European Paliament Town Hall)

During Hillary's town hall at the European Parliament, "Max from Moldavia, a gay rights activist who caught Mrs Clinton's attention in a T-shirt saying "I love Hillary," asked about the US policy concerning the rights of homosexuals." Hillary replied: "I can only hope that we all live long enough to see the end to this kind of discriminatory treatment and recognition that human rights are the inalienable rights of every person no matter who that person loves."

"In particular, persecution and discrimination against gays and lesbians is something we take very seriously."

No top American politician has bothered to visit the European Parliament since President Reagan more than 20 years ago. Now the most powerful foreign affairs chief in the world, Hillary Clinton, was not only visiting it but holding a "town hall"-style meeting.
