Lord of the Democrats & Other Obamamania News of the Day (Video)

From Alegre comes the report: At least eight superdelegates have switched from Obama to Hillary:

Big news folks - it looks like our efforts in contacting those Superdelegates are starting to pay off, so keep on writing to them (ok, maybe Donna B's a waste of time). There are unconfirmed reports, based on phone banking efforts to reach out to Super Ds, that eight previously Obama SDs expressed that, given the opportunity, they would vote for Hillary at the convention.

Crowd erupts during Obama speech -- but it's over mention of Clinton:

An interesting and surprising little thing happened Sunday while Barack Obama was speaking (in English) to the National Council of La Raza in San Diego. . It was then that the crowd erupted in enthusiastic applause and warm cheers. But not over Obama's policy proposal. What ignited that outburst was the mere mention by Obama of the name Hillary Clinton, his vanquished party opponent. She wasn't there, of course. But in absentia the Democratic Party's loser got a noticeably warmer response than the winner, perhaps a reflection of that lingering party unity thing that was taken care of up in Unity.

Politico: Democrats/Superdelegates on the hill are miffed at Obama:

After a brief bout of Obamamania, some Capitol Hill Democrats have begun to complain privately that Barack Obama’s presidential campaign is insular, uncooperative and inattentive to their hopes for a broad Democratic victory in November.
