Rachel Maddow Nominated For Grammy Award

The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences revealed on Wednesday evening that MSNBC host Rachel Maddow has been nominated for a Grammy Award.
For her audiobook recording of Drift: The Unmooring Of American Military Power, her New York Times bestselling non-fiction book from this year, Maddow has been nominated for a Grammy under the “Best Spoken Word Album” category.

The MSNBC progressive host faces tough competition: 2005 Grammy winner President Bill Clinton was nominated for his Back To Work: Why We Need Smart Government For A Strong Economy audiobook; and comedian Ellen DeGeneres received a nod for her Seriously… I’m Kidding recording.
