Senate Candidate Mourdock (R-IN): Pregnancy from rape can be ‘something that God intended to happen’

Another day, another GOP whacko. Just like creepy Todd Akin, Indiana Senate candidate Richard Mourdock has some seriously sick and creepy ideas about rape.

Like God wants women to be raped so women can have rapists' babies.

Yeah, and maybe Richard Mourdock IS a rapist. Why the hell else would anyone attempt to justify rape as God's will? Let's see now, what does it mean when all the anti-woman crazies are in the Republican Party? Oh yeah, it means we are talking about a party full of dangerously crazed fools!

Oh well, Indiana has way too many Republicans in high office. Mourdourk, the fool, is simply making room for some much-needed Indiana Democrats: (The race between creepy Mourdock & Democratic Joe Donnelly is currently a toss-up!)

Indiana GOP U.S. Senate candidate Richard Mourdock declared Tuesday night he opposes aborting pregnancies conceived in rape because "it is something that God intended to happen."

Debating Rep. Joe Donnelly (D-Ind.) in their final Senate race showdown, a questioner asked them and Libertarian candidate Andrew Horning to explain their views on abortion.

All three said they were anti-abortion. But Mourdock went the further, putting himself in territory near Missouri GOP Senate candidate Rep. Todd Akin, the anti-abortion congressman who infamously asserted that women don't get pregnant from "legitimate rape." "The only exception I have to have an abortion is in the case of the life of the mother," said Mourdock, the Tea Party-backed state treasurer.
