The widely reported guest list to Chelsea Clinton's wedding reads like a cross between a fairy tale and a super fancy campaign fundraiser -- from Oprah to Obama, Barbara Streisand, Ted Turner, Doris Kearns Goodwin and Steven Spielberg.Now we learn that all those media stories about Chelsea's impressive guest list are total fiction. Obama and Oprah are not invited. Gawker reports:
The misinformed guest list came from upstate New York's Hudson Valley News and was repeated in every news outlet this side of the Milky Way. (Including ours!)
The real invitees don't even know where the wedding is going to be held -- which means that the media stories are also totally wrong about Chelsea getting married in Rhinebeck, NY. Evidently, this is just one more example of the media getting it all wrong about the Clintons.
