Who says there's no such thing as good news? Merrill Lynch executive Harold Ford is out of the New York senate race. Helicopter Harold has even written a whole op-ed about his non candidacy. After blaming "Party bosses" for trying to bully him out of the race, Ford says he's not running because he doesn't want to hurt the Democratic Party. In other words, the bullying worked! Thank gawd. Actually, we think it was Snake Oil Harry's scary encounter at the Stonewall Dems that scared him out of the race.
They're already celebrating in New York:
