At yesterday's Congressional Hearing for fat-cat plutocrats, Barney Frank asked the "Captains of Our Universe," aka banking CEOs, exactly what it would mean if they somehow didn't get their million dollar bonuses on top of million dollar salaries:
"Would you, like, leave early on Wednesdays? Would you take longer lunches?"
Rep. Capuano (D-MA) took it further. He compared the decadent white male fat-cat plutocrats to thieves (see the video below) and told them: "America doesn't trust you anymore."
Meanwhile, everybank in Nashville charges non account holders a fee of $5 to cash a check drawn on everybank's own bank! I guess all those billions weren't enough. Why don't they simply charge us when we walk in the door?
"You come here today on your bicycles after buying Girl Scout cookies and helping out Mother Teresa," railed the Boston-area Democrat. "You're saying, 'We're sorry. We didn't mean it. We won't do it again. Trust us.' I have some people in my (district) who have robbed some of your banks and they say the same thing."
