Senator Chris Matthews, Representing the Misogynistic Wing of the Democratic Party

The election is barely over and already Chris Cillizza, at The Fix (Washington Post) is promoting the 2010 senate candidacy of his good buddy noted misogynist Chris Matthews.

The Hardball host has dropped numerous hints about a desire to challenge Sen. Arlen Specter (R) for the Pennsylvania senate seat.

It's getting harder and harder to tell the difference between pols and pundits. If Matthews should run, he will no doubt have the MSNBC network as campaign headquarters, as well as the support of a host of media cronies.

Unless the Democratic Party gets wise and persuades Matthews to forget it, the anti misogynist vote will go to the Republicans. (As always, we are talking about the lesser of two evils, Specter is clearly no Joss Whedon.)

Chris Matthews is to women what David Duke is to Blacks. Does the Democratic Party really want to be represented by a man so infamous for misogyny?

If so, we have his campaign slogan: Chris Matthews, Representing the Misogynistic Wing of the Democratic Party!

If so, Republicans won't have to spend money on campaign ads. This one's a killer:
