It's As If They're Trying to Foment a Floor Fight at the Convention

From Pennsylvania Avenue: The executive director of Pennsylvania’s Democratic Party said she has been blitzed with written and verbal assaults from Hillary Clinton supporters after asking the state’s Clinton delegates this week to hold off on trying to get the New York senator on the nominating ballot at the upcoming convention.

"I had hate voicemails and hate emails,” said Mary Isenhour, adding that all of the responses have come from out-of-state supporters who had caught wind of her e-mail, not from the 90-plus delegates who her note was addressed to Monday. . . Michael I. Butera, a Clinton delegate from West Pittston, Luzerne County, said his inbox has been filled with dozens of e-mails in the past day from people claiming to be Clinton delegates from throughout the country, urging him to sign the petition.

“It is as if they are trying to foment a floor fight at the convention,” he said. “Which by the way, is fine with me. If we fight, let’s fight, but let’s be organized here. We can't fight without a leader.”

Clinton backers challenge change to Kentucky delegate roster:
Kentucky supporters of Hillary Rodham Clinton say the Kentucky Democratic Party has violated rules by substituting a backer of Barack Obama for a Clinton supporter in the delegation that will attend the national convention in Denver later this month. . . [via Alegre's Corner]

New York Observer: Clinton Bundler: Democratic Nomination Is Still Up For Grabs: Ricki Lieberman is one Hillraiser (the designation for those who raised over $100,000 for Hillary Clinton) who’s not ready to give up the fight. Responding to Jason Horowitz’s story in this week’s Observer – in which Jason detailed the “Electability Watch” newsletter that she’s been sending out every night since the Democratic primaries ended – Lieberman has written in to make it clear that her efforts are aimed at one goal: securing the Democratic nomination in two weeks for Hillary Clinton. . .

"Always aim high, work hard, and care deeply about what you believe in. . When you're knocked down, get right back up. And NEVER listen to anyone who says you can't or shouldn't go on."
