Hillary to Speak at Democratic Convention on Equality Day
This year's Equality Day will be a memorable one. Feminist trailblazer Hillary Rodham Clinton will speak on August 26 at the Democratic Convention in Denver.
All 16 female U.S. senators will be on the stage.
August 26 marks the 88th anniversary of the day women finally got the right to vote in the United States. In the entire 232 years of this nation's history, there has been a grand total of 35 female senators.
