Republicans Snub Another Debate - Still Don't Like Blacks, Latinos, Gays, etc.

Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney, Freddie Thompson and John McCain all refuse to attend the upcoming debate at the historically black Morgan State University.

The "All American Presidential Forum" was organized by black talk show host Tavis Smiley and is sponsored by PBS.

The white men have scheduling conflicts.

Or, as Tavis Smiley observes: "There is a pattern here. When you tell every black and brown request that you get throughout the primary process that 'no, there's a scheduling problem.' That's a pattern.."

The white men also skipped the NAACP debate, the Urban League debate, the Latino debate, and the gay debate. I'm certain that if a group of women decide to hold a debate, the nervous old white men will skip that one too.

Once again, I ask: Why do we need a Republican Party?

"At this moment in American history, it is clear that either the Republican Party wisely embraces people of color or it chooses to be a losing political party in the future."
