Support the Troops - Surge Around Iowa in a Winnebago with Romney!

After notorious flip-flopper Mitt Romney called for "'a surge of support' for U.S. forces in Iraq," the GOP candidate was asked why his five sons aren't supportively surging off to Iraq.

Turns out that when you are Mitt Romney's son, driving around Iowa in a Winnebago is the equivalent of joining the army and serving in the Iraq War.

"One of the ways my sons are showing support for our nation is helping to get me elected, because they think I'd be a great president." -- Mitt Romney

Romney said that one of his sons, Josh, is "completing a recreational vehicle tour of all 99 Iowa counties. . and 'I respect that and respect all those and the way they serve this great country.'”

When asked if she was satisfied with Romney's response to her question, Griffiths said: "Of course not. He told me the way his son shows support for our military and our nation is to buy a Winnebago and ride across Iowa and help him get elected."

Believe it or not, flip-flopper Romney is currently leading the pathetic GOP pack in Iowa. And for some reason, Mike Huckabee is suggesting that if Romney gets the nomination, Democrats will call Mitt a flip-flopper (!) and thus "endanger GOP chances of winning the White House in 2008."

The fools actually believe they have a chance.
