Iraq War Protest in Sewanee Tennessee -- 9/21/07
Folks in Sewanee, Tennessee join countless others across the nation in the Iraq Moratorium initiative.
Demonstrations against Bush's immoral war are held on the 3rd Friday of each month. If you're in the area, you can join the protest in Sewanee on September 21.
Otherwise, consider organizing a demonstration in your own area.

These photos are from the August demonstration in Sewanee, Tennessee -- where 48 folks made their point in 95 degree heat. Demonstrators included, "Veterans for Peace; professors of theology, theatre, French; lawyers; a priest; a mortgage broker; writers; an herbalist; candidates for public office; activist women and children; retired veterans of the VietNam protest years; and of course the End Iraq Occupation Committee of Sewanee's Cumberland Center for Justice and Peace."
