Anti-Choice Rally Helps Fund Abortions for TN Women

Yesterday Pro Choice activists raised money to fund abortions for low income women by counting the bodies that showed up at the Tennessee Right to Life Rally in downtown Nashville.

Happily, some 600 bodies were counted for the Pledge-for-Choice drive conducted by Tennessee and Nashville NOW and Planned Parenthood for Middle and East Tennessee.

The militant anti-choice group convened at the Sheraton Hotel where several religious patriarchs, including Richard Land, spoke on the subject of controlling women's wombs.

Afterwards the anti-choicers marched all of a block to the Capitol where they held signs, yelled into bullhorns, and called Pro Choice activists names. At one point, the religious fundamentalists were overheard yelling about the evil Tennessee Guerilla Women.

"No Exception! No Compromise!"

Apparently, the theme for this year's radical anti-choice agenda is "No Exception! No Compromise!"

A number of the militant anti-choicers from the Nashville event will be on hand in Washington today for their annual Roe v. Wade anniversary march from the National Mall to the U.S. Supreme Court. The theme, or title of the march is: "Thou Shalt Protect the Equal Right to Life of Each Innocent Human in Existence at Fertilization. No Exception! No Compromise!"

The radical extremists will be greeted by the National Organization for Women.
