And the Winner Is . . .

The winner is the democratic wing of the Democratic Party!

And Ned Lamont . . . and Paul Wellstone too.

I don't even want to talk about Joe's miserable sore loser 'concession' speech. He's running as an Independent. Lieberman has left the Democratic Party. Why on earth doesn't he just sign up with his base - the Republican Party?

The former Democratic Senator said "he wouldn’t hesitate to work with members of the other party if it helps achieve positive results for Connecticut." Gee, which party do you think he meant?

Kos has a great post which lays out what needs to be done in response to Lieberman's departure from the Democratic Party. Here's the essence, but you should read the post: 1. Push Harry Reid to strip Lieberman of all committee assignments. 2. Let people know what a sore loser Lieberman is. 3. Get all Democrats -- including Bill Clinton -- to publicly back Ned Lamont. 4. Get the Democratic interest groups who backed Lieberman to switch allegiances in the general.

Number 3 looks damn easy.
