July 4th TennCare Celebration with those doing the Sit-In at the Capitol
Independence Day Party on Monday, July4th, 7-10pm at the doors of the State Capitol on the Charlotte Avenue side. Parking is available.
Watch the fireworks from the steps of the Capitol! Celebrate our civil rights - (if we don't use 'em, we'll lose 'em)!
Show our appreciation of those hearty souls who have maintained a presence there for the past 2 weeks in support of all TennCare enrollees about to lose their coverage or have their benefits drastically cut back UNNECESSARILY.
They have turned the state house into the PEOPLE'S HOUSE SO THAT GOVERNMENT BY THE PEOPLE, OF THE PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE SHALL NOT PERISH FROM THIS EARTH!
Bring food and drinks, flags and musical instruments!
