Russ Feingold at Democracy for Tennessee Convention in Nashville Tomorrow

It's not too late to register for this exciting progressive event. I'll be there on a blogging 101 panel (I did something similar at the NOW convention), so if you've been thinking about starting your own blog, you have one more reason to attend this event!

From Democracy for Tennessee:

That's right, the Democracy for Tennessee Convention is right around the corner - THIS SATURDAY - starting at 9:00 AM in Nashville at the Watkins College of Art & Design.

For those of you who have been living in a cave, the DFT Convention is shaping up to be THE hot political ticket of the summer!

The highlight is our keynote speaker U.S. SENATOR RUSS FEINGOLD of Wisconsin. Feingold is a true progressive who voted against the Patriot Act and who just over a week ago, put a resolution in front of the Senate for Bush to prepare an exit strategy for Iraq. He is the true "maverick" politician and he's going to be right here in Tennessee this Saturday night at the Belcourt Theatre at 7:00 PM. Admission is $30, $20 for students and you can order tickets
HERE.

Oh, and don't tell anyone, but the inside track in Washington is that Feingold's testing the waters to run for the Big Chair in 2008. 'Nuff said!

As for the Convention during the day, we've got more speakers, seminars, and workshops than you can shake a stick at. Jim Dean will be there! Bob Tuke will be there! Rosalind Kurita will be there! Harold Ford Jr. will (maybe) be there! And panelists! Boy, do we have some good panelists! Don't believe me? Go look at the
LINEUP and then tell me there's not a great program waiting for you on Saturday! And to top it all off, we are going to do a really cool grassroots campaign training session in the afternoon that you do NOT want to miss. The price for all of this, lunch included, is $25 ($15 for students).

So what are you waiting for? Click now and

We'll see you there!
