News from the Gay and Not-So-Gay Front

Third Wave Agenda has the grim details of yet another gay hate crime. Can anyone doubt that the rampant homophobic agenda pushed by our “leaders” will lead to an increase in hate crime? The bastards should be sued every time one of their constituents commits a hate crime.

Here’s a snippet from Third Wave Agenda:

A young man, Micah Painter, is walking down the street, and a truck full of Evangelicals pull over because he is "walking like a girl." They ask him if he's gay, and he says yes. So after kicking and punching him, "Samusenko broke the vodka bottle against a wall and stabbed Painter with its jagged edges, slashing Painter between the eyes and leaving two long, deep cuts in his back.

On the far brighter side, Connecticut is moving closer to legalizing civil unions. The bill passed in the Senate and is heading for the House next week.

And way over there on the other side of The Empire, in the same state that lifted the ban on interracial marriage two decades before the U.S. Supreme Court ruled the bans unconstitutional, the California chapter of the NAACP has signed on in support of a bill that would allow same-sex couples to marry. The bill would define marriage as "a contract between two persons.”

There’s also a Universal Health Care bill making its way through the California legislature.

Why can’t we get bills like this in Tennessee? Never mind. I know. It’s Education, Stupid!
