Tennessee Lunatic Lawmaker Proposes: "Don't Say Gay" Bill

The Don't Say Gay bill is up for a hearing tomorrow. It's time to flood the legislature with calls, or maybe a SAY GAY protest is in order. Yes, it's true folks. Tennessee's infamous Stacey "Death Certificates for Abortions" Campfield wants to banish the concept of gayness from public schools.

Today Campfield is talking about banning language, tomorrow the lonely lunatic will be talking about banning gay students.

Representative Stacey Campfield of Knoxville filed a bill . . that would prevent public elementary and middle schools from allowing "any instruction or materials discussing sexual orientation other than heterosexuality."

TEP - HB 821 -- The Don't Say 'Gay' Bill:

"Prohibits teaching of homosexuality in grades K-8. Prohibits the teaching of or furnishing of materials on human sexuality other than heterosexuality in public school grades K-8. (S: Bunch; H: Campfield). Senate Status: Referred to Senate Education. House Status: Set for House Education K-12 Subcommittee 03/11/2009."
