McCain's VP Watch: Sarah Palin Is in Dayton Ohio?

Update: A headline in the Chicago Tribune reads: Source: Sarah Palin is John McCain's pick for vice president: A Republican source confirms that John McCain has chosen Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to be his running mate. Campaign officials, however, remain mum this morning. And another source! CNBC also says it's her! Dana Bash on CNN says Palin is now viewed as the most likely pick! We'll know at 11:00 this a.m. [via Ed Morrissey]

Looking for clues about McCain's imminent VP pick, CNN reports that a private jet from Anchorage, Alaska arrived just outside of Dayton, Ohio last night. John McCain is expected to announce his pick for Vice President in Dayton today.

CNN dubbed the flight as extremely "secretive," and reported that a woman and 2 teens were seen getting off the plane. I seriously doubt if John McCain is courageous and smart enough to pick a woman. But if Governor Sarah Palin should actually be his VP pick, the GOP's problem of a dull and boring and lifeless ticket would suddenly be a thing of the past!

Never mind that she's young and attractive, Sarah Palin - the Alaskan Governor - has an astonishingly high approval rating - in the 80s!

If Sarah Palin is McCain's VP pick, large numbers of women will once again tune into politics. And karma will once again prove to be a total bitch for Barack Obama and the party elders of the undemocratic Democratic Party!

Barack Obama should have begged Hillary Rodham Clinton to be on his Democratic ticket. John McCain may well be about to bring that chilling fact home to Barack Obama.

Update: Pawlenty is NOT going to Ohio Today
