28 Percent

We're sorry to report that there's no truth to the rumor that Bush is sending Laura to deliver his State of the Union address tonight.

But the Decider so wishes she could sit adoringly behind him instead of that Wicked Witch from the West, Nancy Pelosi.

With a job approval at 28 percent, according to a CBS News poll, the Decider's score is now "four points higher than Nixon's approval" when he quit in disgrace.

Now there's an idea!

A staggering 72 percent of Americans believe that the Decider should seek approval from the Democratic Congress before sending more troops to Iraq.

But hey, that's just the American people. Who cares what they think?
