Republicans Send Seniors to Phone Sex Line

Is Brownie in charge of the new Medicare prescription drug program? When seniors called the Medicare prescription hotline, it got hotter than they expected after they reached Intimate Encounters, a phone sex line.

Perhaps this was merely a mistake, or perhaps this has something to do with the rumoured Republican sex scandal. One thing for sure, somewhere in this story there is a Bush crony.

Forbes:

Seniors calling a phone number for answers about the new Medicare prescription drug program reached a phone sex line by mistake.

... [A] few thousand letters were sent nationwide last month to people asking about Medicare's drug program under Humana. The phone number listed on the letter was one digit off from Humana's correct number, 1-800-992-2551.

A message at the wrong number directed callers to "Intimate Encounters," which offered service for $2.99 or 99 cents per minute, depending on what callers want.
