Gas Lines, Gas Rations

Gas Rations
"With major gasoline pipe lines running dry in the wake of Hurricane Katrina’s destruction along the Gulf Coast, some gas stations began to ration their sales to keep from running out."

Gas Lines
Iowa: "At about 10:15 p.m., gas lines were backed up in Waterloo. . Other nearby stations were closed. The rush occurred following broadcast media reports of gas prices topping $3 a gallon."

North Carolina: "Hundreds and perhaps thousands of nervous drivers formed lines at dozens of gas pumps in Fayetteville and other stations in Fayette County Wednesday afternoon."

Elevated from the comments: "I just got out of school, and went to do my safety fill up. There were lines at the Citgo in east Nashville. I even saw my exboyfriend who was abducted by aliens last year there. Man, this has got to be a disaster!" --Clementine
