Rumor: Speaker Boehner to Resign Tonight

This hard to believe rumor was broken minutes ago on MSNBC's Martin Bashir show, a great show btw.

Boehner will resign at 5pm tonight according to the rumor. Boehner is an emotional guy, maybe he just can't take it anymore.  Election day for the GOP speaker of the House is tomorrow. The crying guy is expected to be re-elected but not without a lot of drama and a possible second vote:

The House will vote tomorrow to elect a Speaker of the House. While it is likely that Rep. John Boehner (R-OH) will be reelected, if 17 conservatives decide to vote against Boehner, it could lead to the first second ballot for speaker since 1923.
