DesJarlais is the infamous Tennessee Tea-Party Congressman who pretends to be anti-choice, or against abortion, yet was caught on tape urging his mistress to get one.
Ms. Judd prompted "a Democratic-aligned super PAC to pump $100,000 and a new TV ad into the race."

Dems go after DesJarlais in big ad buy: Sponsored by the House Majority PAC, the $100,000 campaign is the first indication that Democrats see DesJarlais as vulnerable in Tennessee's conservative 4th District. Before this week, the national party had not provided any financial support to Democratic state Sen. Eric Stewart, who's challenging DesJarlais's run at a second term.
DesJarlais is also facing an ethics complaint with the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners, which deems intimate relationships between doctors and patients to be sexual misconduct.
