Allegedly Democratic voters have nominated an extremely right-wing homophobic nutcase to represent the Democratic Party - as challenger to Senator Bob Corker.
The win of nutcase Mark Clayton is attributed to: 1) Stupidity of allegedly Democratic voters, Clayton is said to have won because he was the first name on the ballot. 2) Stupidity of Tennessee's election rules, Clayton won with a pittance of 26% of the vote!
The only remotely good news is that the Tennessee Democratic Party has disavowed its crackpot candidate. That's hunky-dory. Something more is required. The Democratic Party has a history of kicking candidates off the ballot. This time it's warranted.
