It's hard not to be excited about this dramatic move toward some serious progressive media. Olbermann has a million fans, many of them will eagerly follow him to Current TV. Anyone who has spent the last decade watching MSNBC turn into the closest thing the U.S. has to liberal media knows that we have Keith to thank for that liberal identity. Yeah MSNBC is flawed and Keith is a mean misogynist, but he still possesses the potential to do women and the rest of this sorry global-warming planet a whole lot of good.Al Gore and Keith Olbermann, the potential for good, the potential for speaking truth to power takes my breath away.
