Obama's Plot to Make All Our Children Socialists

Conservatives are having a massive freak-out about the video clip below and similar educational materials sent to schools in preparation for President Obama's historic speech to school children (pre k to grade 12) next Tuesday. Apparently, encouraging children to make the world a better and greener place is equal to promoting a socialist agenda. Or in the words of Michelle Malkin, we're talking about: "left wing radical activism in the public schools," and "ABC stands for All Barack's Children."

Gawd. Can we please legalize marijuana now and make it free for conservatives??? Oh, the horror of encouraging students to work on radical issues like peace and the environment!

Or maybe conservatives are just freaking out because President Obama is going to speak to their children. If all children will be socialists after Obama's speech, I guess that means we'll eventually get universal health care! Yippee!

God forbid that someone attempts to inspire children to do something more important with their lives than watch tv and play video games. Please bring on the so-called socialist agenda, but for gawd's sake don't package it like it's from the King of Narnia.

This video clip effectively rewrites Jack Kennedy's famous line: Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country. In the new postmodern version of the line, Kennedy, er, Obama tells the country: Go ahead, idolize me! And all our children are encouraged to be mindless rock-star- dear-leader-worshipping zombies, or: Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for Obama. Gawd.
