Hillary Slams the Misogyny. Women Cheer. Sexist Media Boyz Sneer. (Video)

Madeline Albright once stated that during her tenure as Secretary of State she experienced more sexism from men in the U.S. than from men in the Middle East. The problem, she explained, was that the men couldn't respect her as the Secretary of State because in their minds women are not individuals. Women are wives.

Because in male supremacist cultures, women's most important role is that of loyal wife to the glorious self-appointed stars of the universe.

Women across the planet have a long and weary history of being treated by law and custom as nothing more than the property of husbands. As 19th century law termed it: "The husband and wife are one, and that one is the husband.” To this day, men all over the patriarchal planet continue to regard married women as nothing more than extensions of husbands, as obedient wives who speak as their husbands instruct.

Goddess only knows how much sexist garbage Hillary Rodham Clinton puts up with from pompous self-absorbed and violent misogynistic patriarchs all over the world. This time she fired back. And I was not the only woman who cheered.

"You want me to tell you what my husband thinks? My husband is not secretary of state, I am. If you want my opinion, I will tell you my opinion. I am not going to be channeling my husband."

The sexist swine who serve as the U.S. media saw this as just another opportunity to sneer and jeer at the woman who is in the Congo to talk about the unspeakable violence against women and girls. About the rape and mutiliation of girls and women that she has termed: "Man's inhumanity to women."

But the sneering media boyz forgot to mention that story. The actual work that Hillary Rodham Clinton is doing is simply not small and trivial enough to be on their minds. The rotten to the core misogyny that makes women and girls lock themselves in their homes in order to avoid being raped is just not the kind of story that interests our despicable male supremacist frat boy media.
