At any rate, with the declining sperm count, this kind of work may well be necessary for the continuation of the species, regardless of whether or not the species includes men.
Lab produced sperm may well make it possible for women to give birth to children who are genetically related only to women. Now we know why conservatives are so dead set against embryonic stem cell research!
