Oprah will dedicate an entire show to domestic violence this week in an effort to take advantage of this "teachable moment." Let's hope Rihanna will be watching.


Incredibly, Chris Brown is a Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award nominee!! -- The flap over Chris Brown being up for two Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards is getting more intense. Sources at the kid-oriented network and its Viacom corporate parent report they are being inundated with e-mails and calls from angry viewers, upset Rihanna's alleged attacker could possibly be honored later this month.

Brown himself appears unswayed from campaigning for the awards -- posting a message on his MySpace page seeking votes: ''Hey fans: Vote for Chris on the Kids Choice Awards 2009 link provided below. ... Thank you for your support.''
