CNN reporter: "But the relationship between Obama and Ayers went much deeper, ran much longer, and was much more political than Obama said."
So what is this? CNN's idea of an October Surprise? Here we are in the general and the media finally decides to look at Barack Obama's relationship with William Ayers? They couldn't do this way back in the primary when Senator Obama stood on the debate stage and said Ayers was just some guy in the neighborhood? Just some guy he was on a board with?
I've already said that hanging with Bill Ayers is not a big deal to me, but it is a big deal to some, and the information should have come out way back in the primary when the press was vetting the candidates. But that would have required somebody over at CNN to stop gushing over their chosen candidate long enough to do their freaking job.
It also might be a big deal to some folks - at this late stage - that Barack Obama was reportedly less than truthful on the nationally televised debate stage. It's almost like CNN planned it this way in hopes of livening up the election drama. But we've seen so much drama in this 2 year election that it's probably going to take National Enquirer stuff, god forbid, to get anyone seriously bothered.
The first video features CNN's startling discovery that Bill Ayers is more to Obama than just some guy in the neighborhood. The second clip features Obama being quizzed about Ayers by George Stephanopolous -- on the Pennsylvania debate stage. Hillary's words were prophetic. It's enough to break your heart.
