Karl Rove, eat your heart out! Most Americans are now self-identified Democrats, according to the latest Associated Press-Ipsos poll.
Republicans are stuck at a pathetic 35 percent, while Democrats have surged ahead to a whopping 52 percent! That coming progressive era we keep talking about is getting closer all the time.
The number of self-identified Democrats has risen from 45 percent in December, while the number of confessed Republicans has fallen from 37 percent. Little wonder that Democrats are now dreaming of a filibuster-proof majority of 60 seats in the Senate.
The poll also found that 22 percent of (brain-dead) Americans think the country is moving in the right direction.
