Obama's Bad Press Day: O Blames Hillary for Rezko, NAFTA-GATE, Bad Weather, Etc.

At long last, Super Tuesday #2 has arrived! But I thought I was dreaming yesterday when I saw CNN critique Obama as if he might possibly be a mere mortal. From Rezko, NAFTA-GATE and on to Obama's sorry habit of voting Present, the press was all over Obama yesterday.

I'm sorry to offend Obama's fans, but for those of us who have a problem with political leaders on pedestals, all I can say is that a little harsh media scrutiny aimed at Barack Obama is long overdue.

But did you realize that Hillary is behind it all? That's right. Hillary arranged for Rezko's trial to begin yesterday. And Hillary obviously arranged for members of the Canadian government to accuse Obama of political posturing on NAFTA, or so suggests our fallen Obama.

Obama Blames Hillary

All three network news broadcasts featured Obama's contentious press conference.

Obama's Rezko Problem

WaPo: Ask Tough Questions? Yes, They Can! -- SAN ANTONIO It took many months and the mockery of "Saturday Night Live" to make it happen, but the lumbering beast that is the press corps finally roused itself from its slumber Monday and greeted Barack Obama with a menacing growl.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Led by the Chicago press corps that has covered Obama for years, the candidate today faced a barrage of questions in what turned out to be a contentious news conference. Questions centered on why his campaign had denied that a meeting occurred between his chief economic advisor and Canadian officials as well as questions on his relationship with Tony Rezko, a Chicago land developer and fast food magnate, now on trial for corruption charges.

ABC News: Obama Scant on Details the Day of Rezko Trial
Chicago Sun Times: Obama has not talked to reporters who know the Rezko story best

NAFTA-GATE Video: The 15 1/2 minute press avail began with a question about Austan Goolsbee, the Obama economic advisor who reportedly told someone in the Canadian government that Obama’s anti-NAFTA campaign rhetoric is just political speak.
