Obama-Hillary War Continues


Mark Halperin has a timeline of the shots fired in the Obama vs. Clinton war started by tabloid scum master Bob Novak. I was really hoping this story would not get msm traction, but the Obama and Clinton campaigns won't leave it alone. Actually, the story lives because of the response from the Obama camp. I'd like to remain mystified about why Obama chose to respond to rightwinger and Rove water-carrier Novak like he is an actual credible source, but the cable news pundits keep telling me that Obama wants to change the subject from his poor performance in the debate. It's as good an explanation as any.

So expect to see Chris Matthews running with Novak's gossip and mocking and railing against the evil Democratic front-runner once again. Matthews and Maureen Dowd really ought to get together.

As Josh Marshall notes, it appears that we won't be seeing a Hillary/Obama ticket.
