CNN International Puts CNN America to Shame -- What? Positive and informative coverage of Al Gore's Nobel Peace Prize win? Well, if it's positive and informative, you know it has got to be coming from old media somewhere outside the USA.
Seriously, CNN America's coverage was so negative, so pathetic, that I had to turn the channel. Right off the bat, CNN America asked: Does Al Gore deserve the Nobel Peace Prize?
And, no, the media posers did NOT ask if the the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change -- the world's pre-eminent scientific body -- deserved to share the award with Mr. Gore. Nor did CNN Provincial ask if Doris Lessing deserved to win the Nobel Prize for Literature.
I'm still waiting for CNN America to ask if America deserves the pResident it got. If America does deserve the pResident it got, then I guess that means we also deserve what is arguably the lamest media in the so-called advanced world.
