Bush Attacks Liberals and 'Most Democrats'

Ever the divisive pResident with a limited vocabulary, Bush held another whining press conference today. The chief fool in the land attacked "most Democrats," and whined that MoveOn's General Petraeus Betray Us ad "was disgusting."

"I thought the ad was disgusting," Bush said at a press conference. "I felt like the ad was an attack not only on Gen. Petraeus but on the U.S. military, and I was disappointed that not more leaders in the Democrat (sic) party spoke out strongly against that ad."

"And that leads me to come to this conclusion: that most Democrats are afraid of irritating a left-wing group like MoveOn.org, or more afraid of irritating them, then they are of irritating the United States military," Bush added. "That was a sorry deal."

This from the pResident who hid behind Petraeus and thus forced the General fully into the political fray. Sorry Bushie, but the real "sorry deal" was when General Petraeus did your dirty work for you via his Congressional testimony and then headed straight on over to Fox News for an exclusive rightwing interview.

The Commander Guy also said that he is an asset to Republicans who are campaigning for the 2008 election.

The room erupted in laughter.

Update: Eli Pariser, executive director for MoveOn, immediately shot back. "What's disgusting is that the President has more interest in political attacks than developing an exit strategy to get our troops out of Iraq and end this awful war," Pariser said.
