Anti-Choice 'Genocide Awareness Project' to Invade MTSU & UTK

Radical Abortion Propaganda Group to Demonstrate with Fake Bloody Abortion Photos at Tennessee Universities

Pro Choice MTSU and UTK Students (Vox ) to Protest Radical 'Pro Life' Group -
There will be pro choice counter demonstrations - MTSU - September 10th and 11th on the Knoll (9am-4pm) and UT-Knoxville - 13th and 14th (9am-4pm).

The foul anti-choice, or so-called 'pro-life,' group that calls itself the Genocide Awareness Project is about to invade both Middle Tennessee State University (Sept. 10-11) and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (Sept. 13-14). The Genocide Awareness Project is what the anti-choice Centers for Bio-ethical Reform group calls its campus abortion propaganda demonstrations. This is the same group that plasters fake abortion photos on the sides of trucks.

If you have a strong stomach and want to see just how many lies they tell and how gross they are, check out their website. Or go here to find the details about the Genocide Awareness Project, with photos from campuses, but I can find no mention there of the upcoming Tennessee invasion.

If you are in the area, please join with Vox - Voices for Planned Parenthood - to take a stand against the lies. Need more info? Leave a comment and/or check out the Tennessee Indy Media blog.

From the TGW inbox:

The GAP, part of Centers for Bio-ethical Reform, is a "Pro-Life" Group who travel around the country and compare abortion with the holocaust and other genocides with graphic images (http://www.abortionno.org/gap.html) of fake aborted fetuses or miscarried fetuses because it's very difficult to get pictures of aborted fetuses as they are considered a bio-hazard.

They target college campuses. They also leave behind newsletters that tell women that it is their own fault when they get raped because men have a totally different biology than women and cannot control their urges. Don't wear those skanky skirts and put a bag over your head. (I don't know who that is more insulting towards.). But, they come on campus to try to convince students to switch positions when in fact they piss them off more than anything.

While I support the First Amendment to the Constitution, as you can tell I do not support their argument. Anyway, my point, they will be at my alma mater Middle Tennessee State University September 10th and 11th on the Knoll and the University of Tennessee-Knoxville 13th and 14th (9-4, both times local). If you are in the area and would like to distribute lit or hold signs with Vox:Voices for Planned Parenthood, please do so.

They are also putting together an anti-choice student training camp at UTK on the 15th.
